I want to be....

I want to Stand at center of Eden
And watched by Lakhs
But I want to be on the other end and watch the GOD
While a masterful century he cracks

I want to be fastest in the car
But I don’t want to go over 20
When I see the sun setting
Behind the mountains in the far..

I want to be a jawan
Who protects the nation
But I don’t want to be one of the crowds
Who easily forgets the bravery a soldier showed..

I want to fly
And own the sky..
But firmly on the ground is where
I want my feet to stay

I want to be among the richest on the earth
But some times I want to be that poor man
Lying Drunk on the road
Without a care in the world

When I flew..

Man u r living big TIME.
I say u r living because you have "WANT".
Unsatisfaction within the conscience is being reflected very nicely in the poem. Dont let that unsatisfaction die, coz till the time you want to be something else, you will continue living.

Wow! What lines you've written. Any aspirations of becoming a poet? ;)
Agree fully with Rompy.

I want to be among the richest on the earth
But some times I want to be that poor man
Lying Drunk on the road
Without a care in the world.. :))))

Nice poem. You may still convert me to like poems yet...

Oh, and btw, when you see the God crack the century, please to get me signature from both of you...

Sky is a heady place to be... How did you feel when you flew?

@fleiger: oh.. if i can.. i will try my best!!! :):):)

well in the sky - I want to fly freely sometime..
but some times when i flew inside a cage, it felt like heaven..

If you can forget that the handrest is the only thing which is keeping the fat uncle near you squashing you on the wall, it's a great feeling. That's why you need something else than a cage to fly...

Sometimes I wish I could write poetry. Prose is not enough to describe that experience.

B'coz I want to be like him for atleast a day :)))
Though not recorded here but it's in my wishlist.

@fleiger: when I bungee jumped for the second time - I really enjoyed it and let myself free.. I was being captured on a video.. and my roomate (KT) just turnedthe angles such that it looks like I am flying(kept the camera horizontal instead of vertical) -THat's the closest I have been to flyig..

And now it is time i need ur guidance once more (after having followed the google analytcs and reader)
How can i share the video(which is on my desktop) here on the blog.. any sites..where I can do it for free??

SiD,
Try youtube.com. I am getting many video clips from friends who have uploaded their video stuff there.

BTW, how's google analytics and reader? Yet to try that.

@Sid

I firmly believe that Dead Poet's Society as it is known must surely have been an inspiration for Mohabbatein sans Raj Aryan's and Narayan Shankar's flamboyant animosity.

Simple and practical here are four lines from DPS ( i forget the context in which these were spoken)

I went into the woods because
I wanted to live deliberately.
I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life...
to put to rout all that was not life;
and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

....
and for videoblogging upload videos on youtube.com and check blogger section on how to post videos.

@cuckoo: analytics and reader are fundoo... realy thank fleiger for tellng abt them

@KT:

@Sid: The only thing I have written resembling (remotely) poetry till date is in my profile "About Me". Tell me, should I try now?
Bungee-jumping must have been fun. Have to try it sometimes.
Agree with cuckoo, try Youtube. Free account and easy sharing of videos. You can get many interesting videos there too...

@Cuckoo: Analytics is good, though targeted at professionals, so you would not need many of graphs they provide. Google Reader is good (though they are trying to iron some problems). Try any feed reader (there are many freely available), if you are a bit lazy like me. You won't have to jump blogs watching for who has updated, but feeds for commenting is a bit problematic.
